well did you? You said you could not find any clearance. Now, it they were tight your bike would be running realy bad. Had taken my motor out to be worked on by the shop. When I reinstalled it it would bearly stay running. so pulled caps put it DTC And I had no play in my rockers. So If your bike is running good, but you are hearing noise, and that why you are doing the adjustment. You should have free play. And if you are going to be working on your bike go buy the repair book. It helps more then some things I know...
